Abington Township War Memorial Park

Help add two-dozen trees to the Abington Township War Memorial Park, which will help ensure that the park and surrounding streets remain beautiful and shaded for decades to come. This tree planting will occur in the area directly South of the memorial itself, in a large grassy area across from Temple-Beth Am. Join volunteers from both the Shade Tree Commission and the Temple to make this a successful tree planting.
Whether you stay for an hour or the whole time, your help will be invaluable to get these trees in the ground. No prior experience needed! It’s a good opportunity to give back to the community and meet other community members who care about trees.
